The use of realia and manipulatives will enhance student engagement, will spark creativity and foster imagination. Students will explore the real world by asking questions, observing, experimenting and investigating using the Blocks and Blueprint Learning Center and construction planks. They will take part in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), integrating science and engineering practices. The hands-on lessons will focus student learning through play and discovery. Their life long learning explorations will create memories that will enhance their lives and prepare them to be college and career ready. All of the students will gain confidence and build higher self esteem as they learn and grow in the area of STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
