First of all, some of this materials will make my classroom feel more comfortable and more like a fun and exciting place to learn. Having a great pencil sharpener is essential. It will maximize the time students have to work hard on their education. The big part of my list is the area rug. Unfortunately, I don't have one yet and they are very expensive. The classroom rug is very important to have and the where the class will meet for a lot of whole group instruction. With these items, I believe my first year will be a great year!
