Pretend play is a crucial element in social emotional development in early childhood. These items will ensure that my students have all the supplies they need to grow their imagination, communication skills, and problem solving skills. It is fun listening to children play, laugh, and build relationships with each other, and all these items will provide my students. From pretending to be doctors, learning how to take care pets, or playing house all these scenarios have great benefits for a child's social emotional development. Providing a variety of choices for the students will keep them engaged and excited for learning, even if they think they are just playing.
