Students love to create and are so proud of their work when they do. My students only have art class every four days as part of their "specials" rotation, however, I want them to have an art center in our classroom that is readily available to them. This will give them the opportunities to be able to explore and make whenever they want. Art is so relaxing and helps improve focus/attention, independence, and confidence! It is also one of the areas that sometimes gets overlooked or taken away in the school setting, and I want to make sure that my students have that outlet and experience in the classroom.
