Many of children have difficulty sitting still in a traditional desk and chair used in school. These materials will enable the children to leave our large group time sitting on the carpet to go and complete the task at hand (writing, reading, or math) being able to rock, sway, wiggle, or just snuggle up in a comfy position. Children will rotate seating throughout the week being able to pick and choose which seating situation best meets their needs to be successful in their learning. And that is what our goals are....to ensure each child is successful by providing the least restrictive environment possible according to his/her needs!

About my class
