My students will be able to focus and learn better when using flexible seating. Flexible seating is a controlled choice of seating options that allows students to move and wiggle. It allows teachers to support students needs to move, while still making sure that they are learning and are safe. Some of the other materials that I requested are fine motor related tasks that students can practice their focusing and attending skills while completing. We have one wiggle chair in our room currently, and all of the children rotate who can sit in it. The increase in their attention while sitting in the wiggle chair is amazing. I hope that, with your help, I can get more chairs for my students.
