Student-centered learning involves choice, and one of the most important choices in the classroom is where and how they learn best. With a variety of options to choose from, students can collaborate on the floor, take a break from sitting with a standing desk, or get their energy out by using a stability ball. By choosing a physical space for learning, students are able to take ownership of the learning process. The classroom is a joyful place where we spend hours of our time, so by making it a comfortable environment, students are free to focus on the important business of growing their minds and hearts!
