When telling my students about the chance to receive new books, they were thrilled beyond belief! Providing a new, enriching classroom library will boost my students' desire to read which will inevitably raise their reading skills. I have chosen books with my students at the forefront of my mind. The books I wish for are filled with social justice skills, life lessons, and will allow them to peer into other people's worlds. The books will be taken care of with the utmost respect as they are read by student after student for years to come.
