These sensory items will be utilized on a daily basis in the Garden Classroom. The students that I work with are all 3 and 4 years old and this will be their first experience of being in the classroom for a full day. Because the Garden Classroom is an ASD room, providing various sensory activities and fulfilling the sensory needs of all the children will be imperative!! It is my hope that we can use each of the sensory tools to help de-escalate behaviors that arise, use them during centers as well as related services time and teach the kids how to use them when they are needing sensory input. By donating to our project, you are helping to ensure that the sensory needs of the amazing students that I work with every day are being met. The needs of these exceptional students are great and by educating them and providing the appropriate resources needed, we can have a great year of growing and learning together. Thank you for considering donating to the kids I have the privilege of working with each day!!!
