After several years of using flexible seating in my classroom, I have experimented with many work area options. I currently have all tables (no desks) and several areas that kids can work in comfy chairs or on the floor. Having these options available not only allows the kids movement throughout the day, but the ability to be more comfortable when completing their work. I don’t know about you, but rarely, if ever, do I sit at my kitchen table in an upright position to get work done. I have trouble concentrating when I am uncomfortable. I’ve found kids are the same way. So I am asking for donations to help me cover the cost of replacing well loved items in my classroom as well as incorporating a few newer items, too. Any donation helps! We are a Title 1 school and receive little to no financial support for our individual classrooms. Any expenses I incur are out of my own personal funds. Thank you for taking the time to help my classroom be the best it can be. Know that your donation will be put to good use, enhance my students’ learning experience, and put a smile on their faces. :)
