Some of my students have extra wiggles which makes it hard to pay attention in the classroom. This can be distracting for all students. I would love to offer flexible seating in my classroom. This would allow students to choose a seat that works best for them. It also allows them to change seats when needed. By donating to flexible seating you are helping students to feel empowered by making their own choices of where to sit in the classroom. This will help them to learn to make decisions that will benefit them. Research has shown that flexible seating increase on-task behavior which creates a healthy learning environment.
