Learning letter names and sounds is the biggest goal for kindergarten, as it sets the foundation for the rest of their academic careers. However, it can be difficult for students to connect to abstract letters, especially if they are an English Language Learner. The alphabet puppets assign a cute character to each letter, which will help with the introduction and retention of each letter name and sound. The alphabet puppets help little learners connect each letter and sound to a puppet character, making phonics come alive. Students will have meaningful memories in the form of puppet shows to set the stage for their phonics. Students will also be able to use the puppets to interact with each other and create their own puppet show. Kindergarteners will be excited and eager to demonstrate their knowledge of a letter by putting on a puppet show for their peers.
