With the iPads, my students will be able to join the 21st century and participate in virtual reality, individualized learning opportunities, coding, robots programming, and so much more. Here are just a few of the ideas that I currently have for projects for the iPads. The students will have opportunities to use Merge Cubes and Co Spaces to present engaging virtual reality projects. They will each use Seesaw, an online learning portfolio, to have a choice in how they will show what they have learned. They will create videos, photographs, and examples of their learning in a year-long digital portfolio making the classroom less dependent on paper. The iPads would make it easier for me to bring in robotics into my current curriculum. Ozobots, Bee-bots, LEGO WeDo, drones, and many other robotics use coding and it would be easier for my students to code with iPads. I am wanting to start a junior LEGO league teams at my school and the iPads would also benefit my after-school teams as well.
