In our classroom we are always learning and creating, but it may look different for different students or for different subjects. During Writer's Workshop, for example, some students work best in a traditional desk and chair, but many need to stand, sit on the floor, rock in a stool, or cozy up in a bean bag. These flexible seating options will help meet the needs of every learner by providing more options, like a stool they can balance and rock on safely. Additionally, the floor seats and sensory tools will help include students that need a boundary or fidgets during whole group carpet time or to feel grounded during individual work time.
