What do pastels, paint, clay, and water colors all have in common? A need for a sink! As the Junior High Art teacher my students work so hard to produce amazing pieces of art year round. I have tried to make sure my students get to experience all different types of art mediums however, it becomes very hard and sometimes impossible to do without a sink. We have been having to run down the hall to the janitors closet to get water and to clean out art materials. This process takes away a lot of time for instruction and student work time. The only classrooms in the school building right now that have existing sinks are the science classrooms and they of course need those for labs. Hiring someone to come and plumb a sink in my classroom would cost close to $10,000 so this portable sink would be a much cheaper and doable option. With all this being said having a sink is a necessity this art teacher needs help in getting for her art classroom.
