I currently teach 6th grade math/science, but will be transitioning to 6th grade self-contained. 2021-2022 will be my first year teaching every subject. I am excited to be starting this new journey in my teaching career and would like to set up a classroom library for my future students. By having a classroom library, students will have easy access to a variety of books. Students will be able to check out these books to read in the classroom or at home. A classroom library helps promote reading which can increase vocabulary, comprehension, etc. Please help me develop the love for reading by providing books for my future students.
