Having this rug will mean my learners will be able to come to the “carpet” and be able to sit and be comfy while I teach. Nothing is worse than being uncomfortable while you learn. I choose this rug because it will also help with us with our social emotional curriculum. Being kind to each other and just giving us that silent reminder as we sit and do math. I want to incorporate a more calming vibe in my room while I teach. Having a light off, a lamp on, and just sitting on the carpet with my students. I feel if I get this new rug, my students will want to come to the carpet and learn their math!
