The materials being funded provide a class-set of band method books for our classroom. Many students are from low-income households. Our school is great about buying instruments so families can rent from the school at minimal or no cost. This class set of method books will provide the same opportunities for their method book. We use these books at every lesson and continue from book to book each year. The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you. With your donation, students will have access to an individualized, performance-centered, modern day curriculum. Each book can be taken at the student's pace and meets the student where they are while providing a strong, performance-based curriculum with cross-curricular elements.

About my class
