My students are budding mathematicians that are enthusiastic about sharing their strategies and ideas in math class. Our class is made up of a variety of learners. For this reason, they have access to many different manipulatives to model their thinking. There is not a day in class that students are not using these tools to help themselves (as well as their peers) understand their thinking when working in and talking about math. Having a Lenovo Chromebook, would allow my mathematicians be more global, and allow my students to able to explore math in a different, and more 21st century way.
