I want to provide them with a place to put their phones and charge them instead of keeping them at their desk. They will learn how to be engaged in other activities without feeling the need to look at their screens and became more productive academically with a balanced use of technology. Each student at my school is a digital baby. They have never been without a digital device. Their phones are a distraction. They look at their phones without even thinking. They have an unquenchable urge to respond. Each day it is a struggle to keep them engaged and off their phones. A phone parking will help to minimize unnecessary distractions during class.
