Flexible seating will allow students to actively engage in the given lesson, with minimal distraction; as they have a choice in their seating with comfort. With the sentence strips, it will help students to utilize learned CVC words to formulate simple sentences, which will, in turn, enable them to grasp the idea and fundamentals of reading. Utilizing the reading trackers, students will improve their reading fluency. They will be able to develop proper directional tracking with all letters (left to right). These tools will give students a sense of independence, increase their self-esteem, as well as expand their interest in learning how to read, and overall be successful within the classroom.
