By giving my students a Lenovo laptop, samsung tablet and Canon camera to use in the classroom you will help prepare them for future digital demands. Incorporating technology in the classroom promotes collaboration and engagement. I will be able to differentiate learning for all types of learners including ESL students. Students will be able to further their learning in subjects such as mathematics, science, global awareness, economics, literacy, coding etc. I hope to bring the future to our rural class with your assistance. Technology is used currently by people every day. I will be able to utilize the lap-top and ipad in small groups, individual instruction and collaborative work. My students will focus on different areas of need during centers and work-stations they will take turns utilizing the different materials. I look forward to showing my students how they can record their reading and listen back to self-improve. I anticipate students recording and sharing book reports as well as recording lessons taught to view again at centers or at home as well. I anticipate math scores to increase through utilization and incorporation of the new technology by targeting specific skill sets for students to improve and work upon. In addition to student use to further lessons I will be able to utilize the materials to connect outside the classroom. I will be able to help document and record student progress as well as share their successes with their families and the community by using the requested technology. Using the 3 pieces of technology I also plan to enhance and incorporate STEAM learning in the classroom.
