I have 7-10 low incidence students, who sometimes need a break from the hustle of the classroom. I would like to provide a nice calm corner they can retreat to. They love being able to escape and breath. Being able to offer them a place to call their own allows them time to center and come back to work once they have stabilized. Often times they need that break from academics and social settings. My dream is to offer them this place to relax. I know it will help them succeed academically and socially and learn how to self sooth and self calming techniques. I would like to get soft seats, a vibrating cushion and beanbag seats to go in our calm area.
