Providing differentiated seating is a goal I have set for myself to attain. The desks and chairs I am requesting will begin the process of helping students learn in ways that not only address specific needs but allow them to feel comfortable and create a differentiated learning environment. By donating to this project, my students will be able to learn in a way to better support their learning style. I have researched and visited classrooms with flexible seating and was impressed with the classroom mobility they provide. The wheels on the desks will allow easy transitioning of seating throughout the school year. Using wobble chairs will provide movement for students who require extra movement while keeping them safe. My classroom will feel larger and more organized with seating that will be in groups for students to work together and learn from one another. There will be interaction among the groups and they will help create a classroom community. Students at our school and our staff appreciate your consideration in helping us make our learning environment the best it can be.
