For the 2019 - 2020 school year, I will be presenting my guidance curriculum in a more interactive format. This past year, I've done presentations, class discussions, interactive lessons and group lessons and after student feedback - interactive lessons have by far been the most well received! My goal as the school counselor is to meet my students where they are, in a format that meets their needs. Students will be using the composition notebooks for their interactive lessons, utilizing the scissors, colored pencils, and glue sticks for each lesson. The pencil sharpener will be used to maintain the quality of the colored pencils and I will use the colored paper for school wide student counseling projects throughout the year. All supplies will be housed in the counseling office to keep them safe and ready for student use, I will take supplies with me as I visit classrooms for their bi- monthly guidance lessons.
