Before, they often spent a lot of time searching for the right part, which slowed down their building process. Now, with everything clearly labeled and sorted, they can quickly locate what they need and stay focused on designing and testing their robots.\r\n\r\nOne specific moment that stood out was during a recent practice session as we prepared for the VEX IQ Robotics World Championship. The students were able to make adjustments to their robot much faster because of the organized parts, which gave them more time to troubleshoot and improve their design. Their excitement and pride in being more efficient showed just how valuable these resources are to their progress.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next steps involve refining our robot for the upcoming world competition. The team is working on building new attachments and testing strategies, and having the proper storage system in place continues to play a key role in helping them prepare effectively. They immediately wanted to try them out, and the classroom energy shifted into one of eager participation. During a recent math intervention group, we used the dry erase table to solve multi-step problems together. Students were able to write, erase, and adjust their thinking right on the table, which made the lesson interactive and fun.\r\n\r\nThe protractor set has been a wonderful addition during our geometry unit. My students are using it to measure angles in real-life objects around the classroom, connecting math to the world around them. One student proudly announced, \"This makes me feel like a real mathematician!\" A moment that truly showed the power of having the right tools.\r\n\r\nNext, my students will be using the dry erase boards for quick practice during warm-ups and math games. This allows me to see their thinking instantly and provide feedback on the spot. When the jerseys, soccer balls, nets, cones, and other gear arrived, the classroom erupted in cheers. The students rushed to try on their red jerseys, admiring the custom numbers and school logo. For many of them, it was their first time wearing a team uniform, and the pride on their faces said it all. They immediately began practicing full of energy and motivation.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the materials during after-school structured practices and games. The soccer balls, cones, and pinnies have helped us run skill stations that focus on teamwork, communication, and strategy. One memorable moment was when we used the full set of gear to simulate a game. Students rotated through different roles—goalkeeper, defender, forward—applying skills they've learned while building each other up. The whistles, pinnies, and mesh bags made it easy to keep everything organized and professional, and the goalie jersey and nets brought the game to life.\r\n\r\nMany students have completely transformed through this experience due to the impact on their self-esteem and leadership. The whole team is showing more engagement and pride in all areas of school.\r\n\r\nThis project has truly brought learning to life, and your support made it all possible. Some of our favorite activities on the rug have been morning meetings, sharing special events like the Scholastic StoryVoice author events, partner work, indoor recess brain breaks, and singing our dismissal song or listening to the podcast Six Minutes. \r\n\r\nSecondly, we LOVE to clean our carpet with our new little vacuum sweeper!
