Our students spend nearly 100 hours during the school year producing our Yearbook. They are currently capturing photos with a point and shoot camera, an old low megapixel DSLR, and their phones. A picture really is worth 1,000 words, but our pictures are often too dark, too blurry, or too pixelated. I would like to use this camera to give students the ability to tell their best story and to produce the highest quality yearbook possible. The telephoto lens will help students capture sports as if they were on the field themselves. The tripod will help students to make sure their pictures are less blurry. The rest of the supplies will help students maintain and take care of the camera.
