These magazine subscriptions will help give ALL of our upcoming 3rd graders the ability to read non-fiction in a magazine format. As we are departmentalizing, the two teachers who will be teaching reading will use these subscriptions to help teach during whole group instruction and will also give the ability for reading support (myself included) to use during small group instruction! Don't you enjoy a good magazine from time to time? These students will be given the opportunity to read magazines that tie directly into the curriculum as well as stay up to date on current events. Kids may be 1/3 of our population, but they are 100% of our future! Invest wisely!
