I have some resources to help my students create math and literacy assignments but some of my students sometimes need more help. My students need access to a computer that they can check out to complete electronic homework assignments. Many of them don't have computers at home. I am asking for a tablet so that my students will have a chance to check out the computer and do their electronic homework. Interactive homework is a fun way for students to practice their skills and share their learning with their families. Students will share their learning with their families, practice social skills, and reinforce skills worked on at school in a much more exciting manner than traditional homework! Homework in my class will be fun and strengthen the home - school connection. Electronic homework facilitates learning; it allows learners to continuously try to reach a goal all while practicing skills without feeling overwhelmed or threatened. Having a computer that they can check out to complete assignments will allow them more time to practice, give them a chance to teach their family, and provide them a chance to have fun with their education!
