This project will help improve their cardiovascular endurance (fitness testing component) during a fun challenging activity with their peers. They will sprint and sweat, all while being distracted from the joy of the Connect-4-game. Game explanation: Connect-4-game will be empty at the starting point, colored pieces will be placed about 15/20meters (PACER test distance: state mandated PE fitness test). Students will take turns with their partner to run across and retrieve the piece (designated color red/yellow), then run back and high five their partner so that he/she will now run across to collect the same color piece, while the partner is running across, the first student will place the color piece in the designated slot of the connect-4-game. The game will continue until time is up (about 2min). Upon completion, both teams will count how many connect 4 connections they made.
