Basic necessities in every classroom include pencils, erasers and pencil sharpeners that work. The materials will help provide a great start to a new school year. Every student deserves the opportunity to have a fresh pencil and eraser in order to be on the right foot for their first day of school. Pencil sharpeners in the classroom will add to the ease and flow of the day so that students are not frustrated before they even get any work done. Erasers give students the understanding that it is all right to make mistakes. When students get the added bonus of being able to chuckle a little while erasing an answer that they might feel frustrated about, it is a win in any student's day.
