The old fashioned silent media center/library where students only check books in and out and study is a thing of the past. My media center needs to relfect the more relaxed and inclusive nature of the 21st century library. I've reorganized the books into a genre-based bookstore style, and made things more user friendly, and now I need furniture that fits with this new vibe. Please help me add some color and comfort to this space. My ancient tables and chairs are uncomfortable and unwelcoming. For many of my students, school is the only place they have internet access, or even books. I try to make their time with me fun and interesting. They have amazed me with their ease in learning computer science concepts, and they can manage to contort themselves in the hard wooden chairs in ways that make my back hurt just thinking about it.
