The Covid Pandemic has really affected my 1st graders. My students live in a zip code that is at a very high positivity rate in Orange County. Unfortunately with this my students will most likely not return to in class instruction for this school year. My students are very eager to learn under these circumstances. My 1st grade students are all using chrome books at home. Their little hands are having trouble with using the track pad that is built into the chrome book. These items I selected will help my students with finding and clicking on information. It will be easier for them to access and complete assignments as well. We are a Computer Science Academy so we are introducing coding to our young students. These mouses and pads will help them to create their projects as well as help them to scroll and select codes. Once they select codes they need to drag over to the main box. It will help them to get the correct item dragged over so their codes are correct.
