Students will have the opportunity to reflect upon new learning pertaining to different cultures through the reading of informational and bilingual books. It is important students see their role in the classroom community, as well as the community at large. This includes being able to appreciate and respect others with differing or diverse backgrounds. Ideally, our classroom community will grow to have a deeper value for one another and learn from the uniqueness of each and every member. These life lessons will be carried with them throughout their lives. Help them experience new cultures through reading and develop a love for others who might not look quite like them on the outside!

About my class
