This project gives students the opportunity to engage in Nevada Academic Content Standards in the areas of reading, writing, and language, with a print-rich classroom combined with photography. This is needed for students who are English language learners and for my students with learning disabilities. With the ability to print in color, take pictures to cite specific examples of learning, and create projects, my students will be more engaged with brightly colored materials instead of perusing mundane, antiquated black-and-white images. The items I have selected will enable my students to learn in the classroom or at home due to Covid. Creating, engaging, and interacting with print material will allow my students to grow as readers and writers.
