The donations to this project will aide my students in the process of becoming life-long readers, writers and mathematicians. The donations to this projects will improve my students’ understanding of the competencies taught in first-grade. The whiteboards will be use everyday for guided reading lessons, writing lessons and math lessons. During guided reading and writing lessons the students will use the magnetic boards and magnetic letters to build words and write meaningful sentences. For math lessons, the whiteboards will be used so students can show their work and as a quick check for understanding.
