These books will make a difference in my student's learning by giving them a wide selection of topics, authors, and characters to select from. Giving students books of their choosing to read helps foster a love for reading which in turn, fosters a love for learning. Reading can let these students travel all over the world without ever leaving our classroom! My students are from a low-income​ area. Reading will help them gain experiences and knowledge from all over! Using these books, I will plan book clubs and literature circles that get the students involved and excited to read and will help create relationships with each other as well.
