Due to the global pandemic, all students started the school year learning in a hybrid model (both at home and at school). As a result, classes are held synchronously with students both in person and remotely. We are finding that the traditional methods of teaching are not as effective for the students learning in a remote environment. Teachers are struggling to manage sharing their screens and being able to view student participants while on zoom. Consequently, we are missing student's questions and having difficulty checking in with individual students for understanding. Using two screens, I will be able to share reading or math strategies while checking for understanding . As a result, the remote students will feel more involved in the classroom and receive the education they deserve.
