Your donation will help purchase various forms of comfortable seating so that students may choose where they would like to sit for the day and apply their learning. Flexible seating also teaches students how to make responsible choices and learn self-control. One of our biggest focuses at our school is literacy which means students have many opportunities to read many forms of text. When students are reading, they are allowed to move around the classroom and choose what kind of seat they would like. Additionally, each student will have the opportunity to choose a different spot each day. When students are comfortable in their environment, they are more likely to engage in the lesson and continue to stay focused.
