As a first year teacher, the classroom materials can be expensive. I want to keep my students engaged, having fun, and able to use the resources they may not receive in a low income school. The use of books is heavily used in the school district. The students receive at least an hour of reading time everyday in the classroom because reading leads to success. The fidget materials will allow my students to stay engaged throughout the day as well as meet their fidget needs. The general classroom materials will help me create a warm and inviting classroom that students may not be used to coming from a low income area. I want to be able to use general classroom materials to create and implement classroom activities that will help the students have fun and feel excited to come to school everyday. By donating to our project, you will be able to help students feel excited about education and reading. They will have success and reach goals. Being in a lower income school, students normally don't receive these type of materials in the classroom. You will help a first year teacher help her students reach success for life.
