Our students are so hungry to read all about new characters and keep finding new series to fill our shelves. I purchased some book shelves from my own money at the beginning of this year, however they are already broken and falling apart due to the weight of the books and the frequent activity the book bins on the shelves receive. Several times the shelves have fallen apart during book shopping and have left our classroom a wreck. This alters our instruction time and even makes us alter where we teach the lesson! Please, help our classroom with shelves that will help give our books a sturdy home. Sturdy shelves are expensive, but well worth the investment, as they will provide many years of use!
