With the split in person and remote learning these materials will help me be able to create, save, and share video demonstrations for my students no matter where they are learning. I will be able to do demonstrations live via virtual meetings using the document camera and handheld microscope. Other materials like bags, containers, and labels will allow me to create take-home experiment kits. Laboratory investigations make up 40% of my class instruction and these materials will ensure students are able to fully engage and experience the learning they deserve. Chemistry and aquatic science students will be able to improve laboratory skills and learn to use equipment virtually in preparation for future courses. Ultimately this project will allow my students to be scientists online or at home.
