The materials will allow my students to develop in the areas of speech and language. With the use of whisper phones, students with articulation disorders can easily hear mispronunciations and correct them to increase intelligibility. The word tiles with magnetic board will help my students with language deficits to learn how to syntactically build a sentence with all of the essential elements. This is important when students are writing answers to questions as well as required writing pieces and essays in the classroom. Language skills are often overlooked as deficit areas; however, it is the basic building block for all learning. It is imperative to offer remediation for students with deficits in the area of language.
