My classroom is a dynamic learning experience for all students who are interested in visual arts. Students experience hands-on learning opportunities and use the materials necessary to solve design problems. The class is full of safe risk and expression. It provides students time to develop skill, organize thought, and learn from doing. Overall, my students strive to be creative and produce the highest quality of work. The following requested items will help support student creative endeavors in the art classroom. The Bluetooth speaker will be mobile and allow students to gain exposure to new cultural sounds and in addition, be motivated by music during studio time. The welding helmet will support students who participate in metal sculpture. Students at DEHS can take metal sculpture and learn basic welding skills while solving sculptural design problems. Finally, the drawing tablets will continue to stretch my students' design skills through technology integration.
