My students are from a low-income area, where 95% of the students in the school receive free lunches. The school population is 60% Asian, 25% Hispanic, and 15% other. There are approximately 1,300 students in this school. Most of the classrooms have thirty students, and there are five classes per grade level. This is a very populated school with bilingual and special education services per grade level. This school is very well run, having four members of our staff comprising our administrative team. Many of these students have recently come from their homelands. They have limited resources available to them when they leave the school building. Receiving goods via the DonorsChose will definitely enhance the students and their educational experience.
