Kids today have quite a bit of opportunity to use technology to "play." I want to provide my students with the opportunity to use technology in advanced ways, for science, math, and writing. Kids will have the opportunity to research topics, use educational applications, and become 21st century learners. Currently, we use books from the library to write about different animals and their life cycles. Often, the resources are limited, and outdated. My students will have opportunity to read about and then write about various animals, using the most up to date information. They will have the opportunity to view videos that teach them about many of the mathematical concepts we learn in first grade.

About my class
