Basic materials such as glue, colored paper, poster boards, composition notebooks, expo markers, and other daily classroom supplies will help my class stay engaged in learning. Since most of these materials are used daily, we run out of them quickly and are limited to the projects and assignments in class. White boards, and expo markers are used for fun jeopardy games in Reading. Students enjoy using fun colored expos and whiteboards instead of their commonly used papers and pencils. This game helps students stay engaged and makes learning fun! In addition, my class loves working on projects in Social Studies. They often create tri-fold posters on the Early American Indians, and the Three Branches of Government. Providing poster boards and coloring supplies will help students organize their learning with hands on activities.
