The classroom carpet will allow my students a central meeting spot in order to create a classroom community. A spot for classroom meet-ups, calendar, and an area for them to gather during centers. This will create a central location for our community in which everyone has their own spot. The extra Kindles will support my class during center time. It will allow my students to use technology to support their reading and math skills. This will free me to differentiate my instruction to meet all student's needs. The students will have stories read to them on the Kindles as well as read stories and take comprehension quizzes.
