I am asking for a variety of reading materials including some play sets. These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them the chance to explore both the world they know, and the imaginary worlds they dream about. I will use the books for my library to enhance my history classes and small group time. The play sets will help my struggling readers with their fluency. The more variety that I can give my readers, the better their educational experience will be! As a new teacher, I look forward to building a classroom library that my students can utilize to the fullest. Knowing that my students love to read so much makes me want to provide them with as many choices as possible.
