My deaf/hard of hearing students struggle with reading and language skills. Scholastic News is exciting, colorful, and motivating. The students will have fun learning about current topics while they practice reading and comprehension skills. By helping fund this project, you will be helping deaf/hard of hearing students increase their literacy skills so that they can be successful in school and beyond. You can help them overcome the challenges that they face by providing language-rich materials to read and discuss. You can help them learn about this big, beautiful world that we share and spark their interest so that they want to explore and learn more.
